Anthony Razzano's Visit to Fatima
During the month of October, St. Vitus School’s Preschool has been learning about Mary and her special prayer, the Rosary. On Friday October 13th the church celebrated the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima. Preschool had a special visitor to help us learn more about this special event. Our friend from Kindergarten, Anthony Razzano, came to tell us about his special trip to Fatima.
Anthony had the privilege of praying every day at the site of Our Lady of Fatima. He told us that he prayed for special people there. He said that everyone experienced special blessings. Anthony had all of us pray with him. We all sat quietly and held our hands over our hearts. Anthony told us, “ When we hear or feel our hearts beating, that is God talking to us.” Anthony said that many miracles happen when we pray. He explained that miracles are special things that happen to us that we can’t explain. He said that it was a miracle that his daddy(Anthony Razzano, Sr.) did not die in a fire when he was badly burned. Anthony said that he would always remember his trip and the time he spent at Our Lady of Fatima.
